CALLIGRAPHY & LIGHT
KBH.G invites to a moment of calm during the Advent season. Create your own candle lantern in context of a meditative creative workshop with Japanese calligrapher Yoko Sakurai, inspired by shodo – “the Way of calligraphy”.
Workshop sessions for children: 11:00 am, 1:30 pm, 4:00 pm.
For adults (16+): 12:15 pm, 2:45 pm, 5:15 pm

GENKIKAI
Between Christmas and New Year, KBH.G opens its doors to harmonize body and mind through Japanese yoga in its exhibition space. Genkikai can be loosely translated as “the practice of living well.” Breathing exercises, simple stretches, and meditation are practiced as a method that makes universal principles of life tangible.
Participation is free of charge, but space is limited. Participation is only possible with your own mat. The class begins punctually, so we kindly ask you to arrive on time to avoid disruptions. Pre-registration is possible until 22 December via: info@kbhg.ch

KITSUNE-MASK WORKSHOP
Japan runs as a red thread through Luciano Castelli’s work – visible in his early self-portraits as well as his fascination with masks, rituals, and theatrical role-playing. At the Family & Friends Day, the focus is on creative exchange.
In the workshop with Roots+Wings Creative Studio, you will create your own traditional Kitsune mask – inspired by the magical fox spirits of Japanese folklore.
For children aged 4 and up.
Tip: Don’t wear your favorite clothes – it might get colorful!
