AGE-LESS: Representation of Eternal Youth
The desire and the representation of eternal youth, or even the interwoven concept/term of the French Annales school of 'longue durée' are front and center in this talk. Listen to Art Historian Andreas Beyer and Michael Schindhelm discuss the representation of eternal youth, how it has developed over the centuries, asking if there is something such as a visual language/school of the representation of youth regardless of age. Have the arts already achieved a representation of agelessness or rather eternal youth? These and other questions will be discussed. The talk will be held in German and is free of charge.
